Apparently, MAGA wasn’t pleased to see the PLAN so nakedly exposed.
A member who identifies as a progressive independent is beyond frustrated with the incoherent messaging embraced by the Democrat Party.
He’s frustrated and disgusted by the messaging coming from the democrats and suggests their timed temerity will likely be a running joke in this topic, IF – in the coming onslaught of the Project 2025 agenda – you want to call what’s happening a joke.
Fundamentally, Project 2025, is built to WIN without compromise!
The “left”, as MAGA and Project 2025 sees it, the “left” can lose gracefully… without blood… should they – the “left” – choose to either not resist or engage in token resistance.

So far + so near as i can tell, the 2 gender executive order is a big feather in trumps’ cap. I like the all-caps declaration from Trump.
Another feather goes to the incredibly sympathetic interviews with ex-J6 “hostages” who clearly fit the model of MAGA militia types.
Another feather is added by Newsmax who continue to let trump bask in the glow of Gaza hostages being greeted by family & friends.
So far as I can tell, AOC is the only democrat who gets it… she sees what’s coming; as does Bernie who – like me – isn’t really a dem . Of course, he gets it; he got “it” decades before AOC was born.
i watched Ro Khanna – CA. Silicon Valley Rep) on Real Time with Bill Maher last night; in the middle of the panel discussion, after Maher peppered him with hard questions about the soft – TIMID – messaging+ talking points being proffered by the Democrats.
It was interesting, in a hopeful way, to see him almost coming around to getting “it” as he was sitting in one of the 2 pundit chairs.
Oh + also, Nancy Mace is on the panel; fresh from genetalia checking.

Bill Kristol, labeling the White House post as “Welcome to North Korea”, makes an interesting point; at least superficially.
it seems possible; however, a “big question” appears to be looming over the landscape of news organizations:
Will Trump be able force large news outlets, most particularly the NY Times, to bend the knee and say the same kinds of things and could such a thing happen within 4 years?
Seems like it would be very hard to do; my fear remains that it may happen. Every time I conjecture on a range of possibilities that might happen with Trump, he has consistently done things at the very worst level within that range.
If I were to make a simple algorithm with maximum accuracy based on the data thus far, it would be:
“Predict and accept as likely the worst thing that you can somewhat-realistically imagine Trump doing”.
I guess I’ll find out how accurate that algorithm continues to be.

I believe we’ve hit the point where the opposition – be they Dems, Never-Trumpers, newbies to political advocacy because they’re personally impacted, Libertarians… whatever…
Folks who understand what’s at stake need to organize and, as individuals and groups, be as resolute in opposition to Trump as Mitch McConnell has been to the Democrats.
It’s time to engage in mudfights as viciously as Gym Jordan, without resorting to the persistent lying employed by Trump and the MAGA-NAUTS.
The opposition needs to rely in on verifiable facts & truths and then persistently hammer a wedge of facts & truths into the MAGA lies.
The gloves of niceties need to come off.
A brief conversation:
When power dynamics are equal, fights and arguments are won by who cares more; sometimes it’s difficult to see who’s “right”.
By willing do destroy more, one becomes the more powerful. Also, the one with a willingness to walk away from a deal can gain leverage.
If power is skewed, it is won by the more powerful.
Sorry if I come across a downer; all of this crap is in my private life as well.

I don’t know that “destroy” needs to be – or should be – a part of the resistance ethos; however, a commitment to being a part of a movement is, imo, critical.
ps. I get that the Die Hard GIF sorta implies destroying; at a certain point, I guess one does what ones gotta do.
