Our goal is to pay attention to the chaos of trump 2.0, make sense of it to the best of our abilities… and document what we believe are important facts, mis-disinformation, myths, and the occasional truth.

Every week (and eventually, every day) will have links to news articles, memes because we’re living in a meme-rich world, and video links featuring newsmakers, comedians, podcasts, movies and more.
You’ll also be seeing some of the conversations from our web forum which we – somewhat immodestly – believe will add context & analysis for you to peruse & consider.
We are summarizing the days into a weekly narrative storyline which will connect the weeks together to better tell the unfolding stories.
We hope you find any given day and any given week – out of the 100’s yet to be – to be informative and entertaining.

A Few Housekeeping Notes:
*) Only the DAYS and WEEKS which have been transcribed + the buttons scheduled for data transcription are active.
*) Eventually + assuming Trump will ever grant a “peaceful transfer of power” to a fairly & legitimately elected successor, you will see 16 fully populated 12 week button pages, followed by button page 17 covering the final 16 weeks.
*) These pages will encompass and mark four full years – 208 weeks – of the Trump presidency.
*) Currently, we’re running behind; however, we hope to catch up with the calendar sometime in the next coupla-three months. For us, time isn’t of the essence; our goal is to provide – along with other intrepid souls scattered about in the web-o-verse – a unique POV capturing the historically significant antics and anticipated chaos of a wannabe + may-well-someday become an officially minted authoritarian autocrat.

This is a group effort; however + fundamentally, this is my anonymous blog.
I initiated a topic in our online forum titled, “trump 2.0: buckle up” a few days after the election. My intention was to capture our pre-inauguration expectations and anxieties; then, starting on J20, my self-assigned task is to create and maintain a “dear diary” covering the day-in & day-out reality of “trump 2.0” as seen, understood, and commented on by our intrepid band of life travelers who, as a group, score exceptionally well on a bunch of standardized and psychometricinized* tests.
(* I made up a word… it’ll happen now & again.)
On more than a few occasions, it has been made abundantly clear to me that autocratic, authoritarian leaders thrive & survive in a world of perpetual chaos… and that one of the things known to provide relief from the relentless onslaught of shit flying off of the fan blades are the journal & diary accounts maintained by folks willing to pay attention to the mindboggling events as they happen.
I know and trust there are others – out there in the web-o-verse – doing this same task for this same reason.
